
S'mores Protein Oatmeal
Ingredients
1 cup | water |
1/4 cup | cocoa powder |
3 cups | unsweetened almond milk |
1/4 cup | maple syrup |
1 1/2 cups | old fashioned oats |
2 scoops | Kaizen Naturals® Whey Protein Decadent Chocolate |
pinch | sea salt |
1 tsp | vanilla |
3-4 tbsp | mini marshmallows |
3-4 | graham crackers |
3-4 tbsp | dark chocolate, melted |
Recipe
1. In a small bowl, mix together the cocoa powder in a 1/2 cup of water until
the cocoa powder is dissolved and smooth.
2. Add the cocoa powder mixture to a medium saucepan, along with the
milk, remaining ½ cup of water, and maple syrup. Bring the mixture to
a boil and whisk frequently.
3. Stir in the oats and protein powder and reduce heat to medium-low.
Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the oats are thick and
creamy. Turn off heat.
4. Stir in vanilla and a dash of sea salt. Top with marshmallows, graham
crackers, and dark chocolate.
