
Protein Truffles
Ingredients
1/2 cup | raw cashew, sunflower or almond butter |
3 tbsp | pure maple syrup or raw honey |
pinch | sea or Himalayan salt |
2/3 cup | Kaizen Naturals® Whey Protein Decadent Chocolate or Vanilla Bean (you can also use Kaizen Naturals® Vegan Protein for vegan truffles) |
Coatings (optional)
crushed cacao nibs | |
crushed hemp hearts | |
sesame seeds | |
cocoa powder | |
chia seeds | |
shredded coconut | |
mini organic dark chocolate chips | |
finely chopped nuts |
Recipe
Makes 6 truffles
- Add all ingredients (except the optional coatings) into a mixing bowl and combine until well-blended. If the mixture seems too wet, add quick oats or more protein powder.
- Scoop approximately 1 ½ tbsp. of the mixture into your hands and roll into truffle balls.
- Roll in desired coatings and place on a lined cookie sheet. Place in fridge for 1 hour.
- Store truffles in lined glass or plastic container and place in refrigerator.
