Spread Love

Life, Love -

Spread Love

In honour of the month of LOVE, we are sharing with you all things that make our hearts skip a beat. All things that turn up the corners of our mouths. All things that have the potential to change the way someone is feeling – especially if that someone is you.

Leo Buscaglia said, “Too often we underestimate the power of touch. A smile. A kind word. A listening ear. An honest compliment. Or the smallest act of caring. All of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

Here at Kaizen Naturals® headquarters, we are big fans of self-love. For us, it is more than a trend, it’s top of mind from the time we get up until the time we crawl into bed.

Self-love is magic. It’s a ‘be-good-to-yourself’ approach to life. It’s eating foods that fuel your journey. It’s a network to people who care, nah, people who think you’re pretty darn special. It is counting your blessings and knowing your boundaries.

It is sweatin’ out the toxins, walking to the beat of your own drum; it’s, “Man, am I lucky to be me,” magic.

So, here’s to February and all things LOVELY. Here’s to taking life slow when it feels right to do so. Here’s to knowing yourself and what it takes to live tomorrow even better than you did today. Here’s to non-negotiables and getting enough shuteye. Here’s to making yourself a priority and prioritizing everything that enhances your mojo. Here’s to loving your imperfections and everything about you that is different from everyone else.

Crank up the tunes; invest in a set of snowshoes. Treat yourself to a pricey latte or an hour in a float spa. Dial back the have-tos so that you can cook healthful meals at home and sit down to eat them. Here’s to lavender linen spray on your pillow before you go to bed and understanding the importance of stretching. Here’s to more water, less juice, more confidence and less drama, more being in the moment, less being on the run. And, especially more love, less hate.

Here’s to being your own Valentine, your biggest fan, and your practitioner of self-love. After all, even the tiniest acts of caring can go a really long way.
