Favourite Way to Sweat
Autumn's exercise routine changes with the seasons. During the warmer months, she loves biking to work, swimming, hiking and anything else outdoors. During the colder months, she focuses more on strength training in the gym and recovering with hot yoga. One thing that stays constant all year is her love for yoga.
Favourite Way to Recover Post-Workout
Autumn's post-workout routine involves a long stretch and tall muscle-recovery shake. Her go-to is chocolate peanut butter made with banana, peanut butter, Kaizen Naturals® Vegan Protein Chocolate, and oat milk.
Autumn considers her greatest accomplishments to be working as a peer counselor during her last year of university, completing her Master's degree abroad, and using her social media to speak up about different mental health related topics.
Autumn’s Protein Pancake Recipe
1 small banana
¼ cup oats or oat flour
1 tbsp ground flax seed
1 scoop Kaizen Naturals® Vegan Protein Vanilla
¼ cup + 1 tbsp oat milk or milk of choice
½ tsp baking powder
Butter for skillet
1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until combined. If you do not have a blender, first mash banana in a bowl and then stir in the rest of the ingredients.
2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once butter is bubbling, add batter to skillet and let cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Use around ¼ cup of batter to make 4-5 small pancakes
Living Your Best Life
