Carrot Cake Protein Oats



1/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 scoop Kaizen Naturals®  Vegan Protein Vanilla Bean
large carrot (grated)
 1/3 cup  egg whites (optional)
 1 tbsp  ground flax (optional)
 3/4 - 1 cup  almond milk
 1 1/2 tsp  cinnamon
 1/2 tbp  nutmeg

Toppings (optional)

  apple sauteed in coconut oil with cinnamon and nutmeg
  unsweetened shredded coconut
  cacao nibs
  nut butter
  chia seeds


Makes 1 serving

  1. In a non-stick saucepan on medium heat, bring all ingredients except protein powder and toppings to a low boil, stirring often.
  2. When oatmeal reaches a low boil, reduce heat, and add Kaizen Naturals® Vegan Protein Vanilla Bean, continuing to stir often (you can also add more almond milk at this time, if desired).
  3. Once oatmeal is fully cooked, transfer to a bowl, and add toppings of choice.
  4. Enjoy!
